Boca del Lupo is looking for three new members of our team to help us create incredible, boundary pushing live performances!
ARTIST RETREAT COORDINATOR – contract
In November 2025, Boca del Lupo will be hosting three Artist Retreats to the Sunshine Coast, across three weeks. The Artists will be given the chance to work on their individual projects, with consultation and input from Boca Artistic Directors Jay Dodge and Sherry J Yoon.
The Artist Retreat Coordinator has a care for artists in addition to an ability to execute and can work independently. They are the main person responsible for the planning, coordination, and hosting of Boca del Lupo’s Artist Retreat program. This role works closely with Artistic Directors Jay Dodge and Sherry J Yoon.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinating artist arrival, accommodations, per diems, hosting, and departure
- Administrating contracts with artists and related scheduling/logistics
- Managing communication, marketing, and development requirements
This is a contract position, with approximately 30 hours expected between Oct 20 to Dec 1, with greater availability from Nov 17 to Nov 28. Some evenings and weekends will be required during the Artist Retreat, as well as being on call in case of emergencies.
Rate of pay is $35/hour to a maximum of 30 hours (or $1050) plus GST if applicable
Class 5 drivers license an asset. Boca del Lupo is currently seeking individuals based on the Sunshine Coast.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER – Part-time Employment
The Social Media Manager supports the voice of Boca del Lupo in promoting our productions, presentations, and special initiatives to the public. A strong work ethic, alongside a passion for creative arts are essential to the job. This job will work closely with the Artistic Directors, along with the rest of the Boca del Lupo team.
Important Skills:
- Copy writing
- Basic graphic design/photography/video editing
- Social media strategy and use (Meta suite)
- Website maintenance (WordPress)
- Newsletter planning (GoDaddy eNewsletter)
Key Responsibilities:
- Newsletter – once a month
- Fundraising e-blasts – twice a week, two months per years (Nov/Dec, Mar/Apr) for our fall and spring campaigns (on social and email lists)
- Website maintenance and updates – once or twice a month
- Social Media – posts once a week, monitor comments etc (YouTube, Facebook, Insta…)
- Occasional site visits to photograph productions and workshops and gather materials on events
- Additional marketing needs as required
This is a part-time position (approximately 12-15 hours a month), with an hourly rate of $33/h totalling an estimated $500/month. Additional hours added for site visits.

GRANVILLE ISLAND PRODUCER – Part Time Employment
The long time home of Boca del Lupo, Granville Island is a major artistic hub within Vancouver. It holds Boca del Lupo’s unique rehearsal/presentation studio, The Fishbowl, and is also the centre of Boca’s Micro Performance Series, partnering with Festivals across the city to present intimate, immersive performances and experiences. Boca del Lupo presents four MPS shows each year in January, March, May and July as well as Space Residencies in the months of February, April and June.
The Granville Island Producer has an eye to collaboration and coordination with the partner festivals of Boca’s presentation series. They have a proven ability to plan and execute fruitful collaborations in addition to an ability to execute and can work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities include event planning, curatorial support and production coordination for the Micro Performance Series and the Fishbowl Residency program.
- Contracting and contract fulfillment with co-presenting organizations as well as sponsors, supporters and artists
- Production coordination in conjunction with Boca’s Technology Director and Associate Producer
- Facilitation and organization of artist intakes and applications
- Additional duties related to the Micro Performance Series as required.
This is a part time position from January 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026 with an hourly rate of $33/h for an estimated 300 hours over 7 months for a total remuneration of roughly $10,000.
